About Our Volunteers
The Ellington Senior Center is fortunate to have over 40 volunteers who make many programs possible. Thanks to these Volunteer Program Leaders "VPL's" we are able to offer many programs at little to no cost. When looking at the programs listed on this website take a note of the number of these programs that are led by those "VPL's". Amazing! Thank you volunteers!
To volunteer, please completely fill out ALL of the following forms. You will be contacted for an interview if a position that matches your interests in available.
We are currently looking for volunteers age 55+ to help in the kitchen (beginning in the fall) and at the front desk. If interested, please complete ALL of the forms listed above and submit to Alisha, Administrative Secretary. See Sam or Alisha for details.
In addition to our Volunteer Program Leaders, we are fortunate to have a multitude of volunteers who serve in many capacities at the Ellington Senior Center. Volunteers help assist in the following areas:
Ellington High School Students
Over the years we have had a great number of local students from Ellington High School who have generously donated their time and energies in community service hours. We are deeply grateful for these many students who have helped in the following areas, including, but not limited to:
